Water-Efficient Product Sales Tax Holiday – Save Water, Save Money!

This weekend is Water-Efficient Products Sales Tax Holiday weekend. During the Memorial Day holiday (May 27-29), Texans can buy a list of approved water-efficient products sales tax free!

Eligible items include:

• soaker or drip-irrigation hoses
• moisture controls for a sprinkler or irrigation system
• mulch
• rain barrels or alternative rain and moisture collection system
• permeable ground cover surfaces that allows water to reach underground basins, aquifers or water collection points
• plants, trees and grasses
• water-saving surfactants
• soil and compost
