
Protect Your Personal Information at the Bridgestone MUD Free Residential Document Shred Event
Residents are invited to safely dispose of sensitive paper documents at the upcoming Free Residential Document Shred Event, hosted by Bridgestone MUD and sponsored in partnership with Republic Services.
This convenient drive-through event provides a secure way to shred old paperwork such as tax documents, bank statements, and other confidential records. Professional on-site shredding helps ensure your personal information stays protected while keeping unnecessary paper out of your home.

- Time: 9:00 a.m. – Noon
- Location: Bridgestone Operations & Education Building
How the Event Works
For the safety and efficiency of the event, this will be a drive-through only service.
- Enter the designated one-way car line and remain in your vehicle.
- Walk-ups are not permitted.
- When you reach the shredding truck, staff will remove your boxes or paper bags of documents.
- Documents will be placed into the shredding cart, and your boxes or bags will be returned to you.
The event will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will run until Noon. Please note our team cannot accept documents before 9:00 a.m.
To help keep the line moving smoothly, residents are encouraged to bring documents in paper bags or boxes whenever possible. Plastic bags should not be used.
Acceptable Items
The shred truck can accept most paper products, including:
- Notebook paper
- Magazines
- Tax documents
- Newspapers
- Paper folders
- Other standard paper items
Small metal items that can easily be bent with your fingers are also acceptable, including:
- Staples
- Paper clips
- Thin metal brads found in paper folders
- Items That Cannot Be Accepted
- For safety reasons, the following items cannot be placed in the shred truck:
- Three-ring binders
- Binder clips or large metal objects
- Wet paper
- Plastics or pressurized containers
- Hard drives, CDs, or disks
- Video tapes or film reels
- Ink cartridges or toners
- Cardboard boxes, cardboard tubes, or other cardboard items
- Batteries or electrical items
- Syringes
- Trash
Please only bring items listed in the acceptable materials category.
This event is a great opportunity to clear out old paperwork, protect your identity, and safely recycle paper materials. Bridgestone MUD looks forward to helping residents dispose of documents securely and responsibly.
