Bridgestone MUD provides dedicated law enforcement services for the community by contracting with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constables Office through its Contract Deputy Program (CDP). Currently sixteen constables help patrol and respond to incidents across the District, providing high visibility, faster response times, and peace of mind for residents.
This Service Includes:
- Regular patrol duties, calls for service, criminal investigations, fugitive apprehension, and traffic enforcement
- Special services such as vacation watches for residents who are out of town or have specific security needs

To support these services, the District has added a security fee to the water and sewer rates for all District customers—residential, multifamily, and commercial. The fee covers approximately 40% of the total annual cost of security.
We understand some residents may be surprised by this fee, as the District has not previously highlighted the cost of security services. To clarify, the security fee is not related to water quality, water safety, or utility operations. The fee appears as a separate line item on your bill to make it easy to identify.
This fee ensures the District can continue providing consistent, professional law enforcement services throughout the community.
