
Residents are invited to attend Bridgestone MUD’s upcoming State of the District event on Thursday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m.
This annual update is an opportunity to hear directly from your Board of Directors and district consultants about key initiatives, ongoing projects, and the future of the district.
What You’ll Hear About
During the presentation, the Board and consultants will cover a range of important topics, including:
- An overview of what a Municipal Utility District (MUD) is, how it functions, and the role it plays in your community.
- A look back at Bridgestone MUD’s history and how the district has evolved over time
- Updates on critical infrastructure projects, including sewer system rehabilitation, water well improvements, SCADA system enhancements, and facility upgrades
- Planning efforts to support future growth and maintain reliable service
- A discussion on fiscal responsibility, including tax rates, bonds, and long-term financial planning
- Insights into recent water and sewer rate adjustments, including the process and reasoning behind those changes
- Efforts to enhance transparency and public engagement
- Highlights from Bridgestone MUD Park and community-focused initiatives
The presentation will conclude with a moderated Q&A session, giving residents the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with district leadership. Light refreshments will be provided.
