Park Staff
Job Description
- Coordinate with Assistant Park Manager and Park Manager with the operation of the district’s park
- Coordinate with onsite staff to ensure that the park is maintained appropriately.
- Ensure garbage receptacles are emptied regularly
- Pick up any garbage seen anywhere in the park including but not limited to lakeside, playground, splash pad, dog parks, and parking lot.
- Ensure adequate inventory of bathroom supplies, doggy doo bags, and other items stocked by park.
- Report to Park Manager regarding supply inventory needs.
- Regularly interacts with park visitors to provide assistance, answer questions, explain park rules, and ensure a positive and welcoming park experience.
- Relay visitors' feedback to the Park Manager in a timely manner.
- Light landscape maintenance as needed.
- Light maintenance may be necessary on equipment on Park grounds.
- Attend staff meetings
Requirements
- Standard verbal communication skills.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and be on feet for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
