The InTEN™ District Alert System is a free notification program that delivers text message (SMS) and/or email alerts to registered residents regarding water, sewer, drainage, and other District-related events or situations. Types of messages you may receive include:
- Water shutoffs for construction or repair
- Boil water notices
- Flood warnings
- Major District events, such as elections and community events
- Other District service notifications affecting your neighborhood or zone
Alerts are targeted so that residents only receive notifications applicable to their neighborhood or notification zone.
2. How to Opt In
Residents may opt in by completing the registration form and checking the consent box. By registering, you provide your express written consent to receive text messages from the InTEN™ District Alert System at the mobile number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on District events and situations affecting your neighborhood or zone.
4. Cost
The District does not charge for this service. However, message and data rates may apply. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your text and data plan.
5. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of text alerts at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive the following confirmation:
You have successfully been unsubscribed from InTEN Alert System. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.
After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages unless you re-register or reply START.

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact customer care directly at info@touchstonedistrictservices.com. The HELP response reads:

7. Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
