Meet Lieutenant C. W. Hight

Lieutenant C. W. Hight serves on the Command Staff of the North Patrol Division for the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. With nearly three decades of law enforcement experience, he has served in a variety of ranks and assignments, contributing to strategic operations, community safety initiatives, and the professional development of personnel. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to mentorship and leadership, including serving as a Field Training Officer responsible for developing and guiding newly hired deputies.

Lieutenant Hight earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University–Commerce. He is a graduate of the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Leadership Program and is currently completing advanced leadership and management training through the Texas Constables Leadership College.

Lieutenant Hight holds a Master Peace Officer License and maintains numerous advanced certifications, including Firearms Instructor, Crime Prevention Specialist, Basic Instructor, and Accident Investigator/Collision Reconstructionist.

His dedication to public service and leadership has been recognized through several honors, including the Constable’s Office Corporal of the Year Award and being named Lieutenant of the Year on two separate occasions.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Lieutenant Hight and his wife are proud parents of two daughters and grandparents to one granddaughter. Together, they remain actively involved in supporting the community they proudly call home.
