Bridgestone MUD Adopts New Trash Contract
At their October meeting, the Board of Bridgestone MUD voted to award a new contract for trash and recycling service to Republic Services. The new contract will go into effect on January 1, 2024. It will provide a consistent level of service throughout the Bridgestone MUD community and reflects both the input received from our recent resident survey (results below) and a detailed review of the vendor presentations.
The new contract includes the following:
- Twice weekly trash collection (Mondays and Thursdays)
- Weekly recycling service (Wednesdays)
- Weekly heavy trash collection (Mondays)
- 96-gallon carts for trash and recycling
