Water-Efficient Product Sales Tax Holiday – Save Water, Save Money!
This weekend is Water-Efficient Products Sales Tax Holiday weekend. During the Memorial Day holiday (May 27-29), Texans can buy a list of approved water-efficient products sales tax free!
Eligible items include:
- soaker or drip-irrigation hoses
- moisture controls for a sprinkler or irrigation system
- mulch
- rain barrels or alternative rain and moisture collection system
- permeable ground cover surfaces that allows water to reach underground basins, aquifers or water collection points
- plants, trees and grasses
- water-saving surfactants
- soil and compost
